This is a majestic kit! A pure pleasure to assemble. Good detail. Will require attention during window assembly for the proper placement of open windows. Wall joints and window installation are well designed to provide very clean glue joints. The large street level windows will require internal detail (not included) if easily viewed when placed on your layout. Due to its large size. I placed mine towards the back of my city scene which consists of Aurora Thunderjet slot track as avenues around the city. It is designed as a corner building. There are a couple of thick injection points that are tough to remove from the trees. I would have liked detail on the backs of the roof parapets.

"Terrific downtown high rise for HO layout"

This is a really nice model. Mine was gray out of the box, not the beige that is shown, but I liked it so I decided not to paint it. The windows are green and have a sunrise pattern on them. Unlike other models in this series there are no distinctions between open and closed windows so this is not something that you have to pay attention to. In addition the windows are mostly added in panels of 4 or 5 and this saves time and cutting. Unfortunately most of the posts on the inside wall that are supposed to allow the windows to snap in place fell off in the box. This meant a lot of gluing of window panels and glaze that the manufacturer probably did not intend. However the posts that were there fit well with the holes in the windows and there was lots of places to add the glue without it showing inside or out. This model is in two stages so separate lighting is needed for the top and bottom sections. In all this was the easiest of the three spectrum buildings that I have (Ambassador Hotel and Department Store) to assemble. A nice addition to my downtown.
