Model Rocket Engine Hook

The model rocket Engine Hook is a device which keeps the model rocket engine secured in place within the rocket. This is the long thin piece in the picture to the right.

A standard engine hook is made of flexible metal, with and right-angle bend at one end to keep the rocket engine from going into the body tube of the rocket. The other end has a double-bend in it to keep the engine from falling out of the rocket, and providing a means to grip the engine hook to bend it out of the way when removing an engine from the rocket.

Some model rockets may not have an engine hook', if the model rocket engine is held in place by some other means.
