T-34/85 No.183 Factory Berlin 1945

I highly recommend this kit to anyone who loves Soviet armor. Being that the T-34/85 is my favorite tank, I have several in my collection. The old Tamiya kit was my absolute favorite (I built it 3 times), until I bought this Academy kit. And yes, Dragon makes a great T-34/85 model too. But the main difference is that, whereas the aforementioned kit features very time consuming individual track links, this kit includes hard plastic section tracks, which not only look great but, also save you a lot of time during your build. Also, Dragon's instructions can often be ambiguous and quite confusing, at times. The only challenging part of this kit is the photo etched bedspring armor. But you can easily opt to build a version without it, if you so choose. Being that I don't have a Berlin 1945 T-34/85 in my collection, I decided to include the PE bedspring armor. As long as you have the right tools, you will do okay. Simply put, the finished model looks beautiful. Especially the turret. I will probably buy this kit again, just so I can build a winter camouflage version. I absolutely LOVE this kit!
