"Hooked!"
Craig M (Illinois)
I launched these motors last year on the 4th of July while we were waiting for nightfall. The rocket was an Estes d-region tomahawk. The fist flight for this rocket was a Estes e 9-6 that seemed kinda weak for this size rocket. Then I tried one of these, wow! Took off straight up like it had somewhere to go, and what a flame! lost site of it till fhe shoot deployed. That was my first launch with a composite motor. Now I'm hooked! Thanks to internet, hobbylinc.com and aerotech!

"A Lor of Fun"

I usually use these with the 7 second delay on days when the wind is calm and I can send my smaller rockets up to high alitudes without worring about them drifting off. Last weekend however I traded the 7 second delay for a pack of these with the 4 as I had severalheavier rockets that I wanted to launch but it was too windy for my 29mm F motors. I fitted an adaptor amd used one of these and I have to admit, I was pretty surprised at how fast it left the pad. The delay was spot on as the rocket was just arcing over at appogee. I ended up having to walk for a bit to recover it as the altitude was more than I expected. I have probably used these motors several dozen times and have never had a problem with them. They seem to light easy with both the Surefire and the Copperhead igniters.

I love these motors. They don't have the problems that black powder E's have and they really get up and go.
