Tiger I PzKpfw VI Ausf E SdKfz 181 Early Tank

I loved building this Tiger I. Although it is 1/48 in scale it does not skip out on the details. The turret has molded on texture not present in some other kits and the detail inside the wheels is better as well. You get painting options for several tanks (5 I think). My only complaint is that the kit should have come with workable tracks instead of vinyl tracks. When these tracks are installed they do not give very much slack to get the correct sag effect. I think this is trick by AFV Club to get you to spend and extra $20 on the workable tracks they sell. Which I didn't do and superglued the vinyl tracks to the wheels to give the proper sag effect. Also some parts are very fragile and have to be carefully cut of the sprues, such as the tow ropes. These are very thin and easy to break. But overall this is an excellent kit and the decals settle down well with a couple coats of setting solution.
