This new tool Lancaster kit from Airfix has been available in different boxings - with minor details being different and different decal options. The kit is one of the best engineered kits I have built - the level of detail is on par with kits that are twice as expensive. The parts needed little cleanup and fit well. The engineering of the wings provide a sturdy structure- and have some great wheel well detail. The only gripes I have about the kit are the cockpit side windows being separate parts on both sides - which provided some tense moments when gluing, masking, painting and unmasking - and the landing gear being really well detailed but a bit on the tricky side to get to fit. I used an Eduard interior set on mine - but you can only see it up close, as well as aftermarket decals. This is just a wonderful kit - and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

One of the best kits I've built in years. Excellent mold quality and decal quality. One of the most enjoyable building experiences I've had in years. A must buy for any model enthusiast. Pros-Excellent quality, great fit, reasonable price, great decals, etc... Cons-None
