1923 Ford Model T Roadster Street Rod Series

This kit was introduced in 1973 and I don't believe it has been reproduced since then. I like the fact that either a Factory Stock version or Hot Rod version may be built, but the frustration in actually completing a decent quality assembly almost dissolves that benefit. The frame, which is usually molded as one piece, comes in 4 basic parts and must be assembled, which, to do accurately, requires intermediate to advanced building skills. This edition does, however, include and excellent set of pad printed Firestone Wide-Oval tires and six chrome marine style air cleaners for the 6-2 barrel carburetors. With suitable skills and persistence, a nice 1:25 scale example of a 1923 Ford Runabout (Roadster) can be achieved. I would very highly recommend finding one of the many other versions of AMT-Round 2's other 1923 Ford T kits, which contain Roadster and Pickup body options and, if you want a Small Block Chevy engine with a 6 Pack induction and/or fat, 4-port kidney bean wheels with Firestone Wide-Ovals, rob those parts from this kit and fit them to that... Recommended for experienced, well equipped, patient modelers only!
