Good Kit

This is one of my favorite cars of all time. The molding is clean with only a couple of issues. First issue was the ejector pin marks on the roof had to be sanded and filled slightly but that wasn't a big deal. The exhaust system come in left and right sides. This was the real issue. I had to trim and bend it to get it to fit correctly, the end result looks good but the tailpipes are a little short. The shift linkage required some trimming to fit into the transmission hump. The end assembly had no fit issues and looks great. The instructions were clear and the decals went on like a dream with no issues at all. I painted it Ice Blue with a black interior. I would recommend this kit to builders with a few kits under their belts but all in all a good kit.

Quality Issues

Difficult model to finish perfectly. No locators to fit firewall or radiator wall. Front grille and valance do not fit well. Front air dam does not fit or attach perfectly to valance making the front end look incomplete. Decals disintegrated as soon as they hit water. Lots of flash and mold lines on parts. Interior details like window cranks are barely visible.
Great tires, engine detail and chrome. Body, suspension and undercarriage are great.
A little attention to detail from the manufacturer and a little rework of the front end could easily make this an excellent kit.

This kit had a lot of mold lines and ejector pin marks.The parts were less than average,for example the rear end on this one was barely molded.The price Def needs adjusting.But with some work and spare parts it can be a nice model.Be forewarned,the bumper is tricky to get seated.But with some patience and fast setting epoxy it will work out.

There were not many options you could do with this model. The decals would break no matter how careful you were.
