"Awesome Glow in the Dark Figure Kit"
Fun Building Model Kits
This is a great figure kit which is easy to build and fun to display. The glow in the dark parts make the model come to life when the room is dark. I would highly recommend this model kit for anyone looking for a quick and fun build.

"A Thrilling Build"

Greetings fellow modelers,I just completed Atlantis's The Forgotten Prisoner Of Castle Mare. This was one of the most fun models I've ever built! I used Mostly Abteilungs Oil Paintsfor the figure. Excepting Testors Model Masters'French Blue for the tattered shirt, and Tamiyas Redbrown for the sash. I primed the wall black, then lightly brushed, with the grain of the rock, the wall with Testors dark Grey. The floor was painted with Abteilungs oils, raw umberand shadow brown. I wantedxto leave a signature mark , as I do with all my builds, so I made lichen and added that to the model at various areas. The fungi was applied with Elmer's glue then axwah of Abteilungs Neutral grey, Grey, was applied. Keep in mind that this is a dark, dank foreboding place, a stygian darkness, where the light of day is but a fleeting memory, a hellish place for the doomed, where all hope is lost...Hence... THE PRISONER OF CASTLE MARE. .

Cool kit. Some flash nothing major. Really like the glow in the dark options. The glow in the dark is the best i have seen in modern times. Reminds me of the glow in the dark ball we got in a box of alpha bits cereal in the early 70s. Glow in the dark was bright back then. Guess too many folks thought it was radioactive, which it really wasn't. This glow in the dark is that bright, will have to figure out how to incorporate some of it. Looks to be a fairly simple build. They need to bring back more monster kits.

"Good kit"

This is a very good kit. I would recommend making your own chains since these are a little stiff. I wish the extra stuff like the spider, snake and skull could be placed any where without filling holes. Very good detail and has a little flash but not too much. It does have some extra replacement parts that are glow in the dark or you could do like I did and save them for some dioramas.
