Code 80 #6 Switch Manual LH Black

Manual switches can only be "thrown" (changing the direction of the rail) by flipping a lever on the switch by hand. These #6 N scale manual switches can be easily converted to remote control with #2715 (ATLU2715--lefthand) and #2716 (ATLU2716--righthand) switch machines.

"Perfect for sidings"
wtcasper (Westminster, CO)
If your turnout is located close to the operator, it needn't be operated remotely. The value to this turnout by Atlas is that the switch is easily and quickly moved. There is no searching for the lever down by the ties. It stands up, allowing you to simply place your finger on top and move it in the opposite direction. It is easy to camouflage this turnout by painting (see picture). The points hug the rails providing good contact to transfer power; however, points do get dirty interfering with power transfer. I recommend independently powering all sidings no matter which kind of turnout you should choose.
