"GREAT sound!!"

This FA-1 would get 5 stars for its ALCo engine sounds alone!!! It comes with Bachmann's entry level Sound Value. It's STILL Tsunami quality sound, just without some features; like startup/shutdown and graphic equalizer... What you DO get, is brilliant chugging, sputtering, bassy growl that Railroaders LOVE so much about early ALCos! ALSO, you get possibly the best, smoothest drivetrain in the whole Bachmann line!! As soon as I can afford it, I'm buying two more!

After comparing prices for a ho scale locomotive, I was hesitant on ordering this item due to the low price for a DCC/DC locomotive. I am pleased with quality and sound and will no doubt purchase again.
