Best used as an additive to create your own blends
The primary problem with this ground cover is the over-saturation of orange simulated pine needles. As part of this mix, the smattering of light brown coarse turf helps the balance but a bit more would have improved the appearance and consistency. Another element to this is some fine dark grey sand but it merely settles to the bottom of the layers and never really intermixes with the rest.
To make best use of this ground cover I would not use as is, but rather add it to other turf products to produce new blends. Even small amounts of this mixed into fine blends of dark green and brown turf adds a vibrant dash of pine needle color that is more appropriate for this type of ground cover.
All in all, it has a few qualities but misses the boat as a ready-to-go pine forest ground cover. The provided photo doesn't give the right impression of how it looks in hand either.
