Engine runs well , Has substantial weight 120 grs or 4.25 oz. Decoder board is soldered in, buy passing the ridiculous Kato motor clip that doesn't work.....

I am not the type that thinks all things Kato are made in Haven. I have lots of issues with drop in decoders and poor design. But this engine is the best engine I have. It weighs 30 grams more then my....

engine runs strong and steady. Head lamp too orange. Couldn't remove shell. Bottom coupler plate stuck. Didn't want to risk breaking it. Would like to see how it was designed . Will have to buy the B ....

Bought Digitrax DCC drop in decoder. Runs very well. Lots of small detail parts to add, that I'm not interested in messing with. May upgrade to a sound decoder.....
