While this is an older kit, it is still a nice model. The cockpit lacks a lot of detail, But the kit offers decals for the cockpit details. If one so desires there are plenty of aftermarket PE cockpit detail sets available. It has very fine raised panel lines. The wheel well detail is good. It comes with a nice set of underwing fuel tanks, which offer recessed panel lines, where the rest of the kit has raised panel lines. I would recommend replacing the kit seat with a resin aftermarket one, though the kit seat offers a fair amount of detail, for those so inclined to use it. It offers a nice decal sheet, with USAF markings as well as markings for a Belgium AF F-16. It contains Airframe stencils and walkways. It is a nice kit for beginner modelers, and an experienced modeler can turn out a very nice early block F-16 with a little work and some aftermarket upgrades.
