This is a nicely detailed, beautifully molded kit with several build options. It is a full-hull kit, but can be built as a waterline model. The kit includes both a mini-sub and a seaplane which can be mounted on the deck if the modeler chooses. The seaplane handling crane and the mast can be shown in either the raised position, or folded into the deck, and the bow diving planes can be shown extended or retracted into the bow. The kit includes PE parts and a display base with nameplate. The finished model is 12 1/4 inches long, and would make a good first kit for someone new to ship modeling.
