This kit was first issued in the mid 1970's and it still holds up well against more modern kits. The cockpit has raised details and a decent replica of the first ejection seat used in a combat aircraft. It has raised panel lines like many kits of its time and they are nicely done and there are decent representations of the front and rear engines with covers that actually fit reasonably well too. The parts to build the two-seat trainer/night fighter version are also included. As with many kits from Europe there are no swastikas on the decal sheet so you'll have to source your own. There is room in the nose for weights. The Do355 was unique in a number of ways, it was the first combat aircraft to be fitted with an ejection seat, it was the only aircraft with forward-and-rear inline mounted engines to reach combat ready status and the rear propeller was fitted with an explosive charge to keep the aircrew from being sliced to bits when ejecting! I would recommend this model to anyone that has built a couple of kits before. While it isn't Tamiya or HK level it's still accurate and well detailed for what it is.
