This AMT kit is based from original tooling of Lindberg Belvedere kit 72183. Amt has deleted the 6 cylinder and commando engines that were in the Lindberg version. The AMT engine is now a 426 max wedge super stock with the 2 four barrels intake with air horns. The round holes openings for the air horns are not in either kit versions of the hood. Racing headers, Torq thrust drag wheels, several hood scoop options are now included. Suspension parts to raise or lower the chassis are only in the AMT kit. The Lawman decals are by Cartograf. However you will need some modeling skills to mask off all of the orange areas like the box model.I used Tamiya pink primer and TS-92 metallic orange for my model. With aftermarket decals you can build several other versions of drag car Belvederes. The kit parts fit together well. Unlike the Dodge versions you have to locate the hood scoops without any locator pins. I use Pacer Canopy glue PAAPT56 to glue the hood scoops. It dries clear and doesn't attack the paint or plastic. Overall if your a builder of kits its nice to have the options that are included in this kit.
