Saturn V Rocket
Saturn V Rocket
Saturn V suitable for young modelers and Saturn V fans

This kit is a little bit toy-like and has a few minor accuracy issues, but with this in mind, it is a reasonable amount of model for the money. No glue or painting is required, making the kit great for younger modelers or fans of the Saturn V who wish to add a built replica to their model collection quickly. Some of the screws were a tad hard to get started, which was no problem for this experienced modeler, but younger children in the recommended age bracket might appreciate a small amount of adult assistance. For the truly nit-picky, the first stage colors represent SA-500F, a non-flying dummy version of the Saturn V used to verify and test launch and transport facilities. Upper stages appear close enough to represent any manned Apollo mission. The service module appears to be a little long, with the white portion of what is probably supposed to represent the command module boost protective cover extending too far into the silver service module. However, nobody will mistake this as being anything other than a Saturn V. I enjoyed the fast, easy build and the model looks good in my display case with my other space models.
