Black Beauty Standard Edition
Black Beauty Standard Edition
Classic kit will make you work to create a nice model. Still fun.

The best-fitting part in this kit is the box lid. Everything else will need trimming, filling and shimming. The kit is a pretty simple curbside (no engine) model in the same scale as the Classic Batmobile, released by Polar Lights in 2010. Both was released around the same time originally in the mid-1960's by Aurora models, so accuracy isn't a strong suit. If you remember the 1966 Green Hornet series, or sat through the 2011 movie until the Black Beauty showed up, you may have some fondness for the car or the kit. Parts are thick and clunky without a lot of detail. But, the price is low and the box art is like the original. The model will look great on the shelf next to your 1/32 Batmobile. Or, if you're a collector, the two boxes will look good in your kit stash if you don't decide to build it because of the aforementioned flaws. Either way, Hobbylinc has a low price on the kit so you can't go wrong.
