Atlantis Models has brought back both versions of the Monogram 1/72 snap-together Huey Helicopters. It’s the early Huey 204 with a single window in each sliding door (later Hueys had a stretched airframe and two windows in each door). The original Snap-Tite kit first appeared in 1976. It is pretty easy to build. Included is a green Huey gunship with two machine gun pods, and the red firefighter Huey with a water-drop tank. Decals are water-slide instead of stickers. The Hueys are pretty well detailed, so you can build a nice scale model if you use paint and glue, or they are molded in color and will look fine in the bare plastic. The parts fit together very well either way you decide to build them. This kit makes a great project for parents to do with their kids and the price is very low. Highly recommended!
