This is a very old molding, and it shows. The parts count is very low, making for a crude kit. The exterior detail is poor, with crude landing gear, toy-like wheels, and shallow, blank wheel wells. The cockpit is fairly basic, and the canopy is foggy. The fit of parts is very poor-you will need a lot of putty for this kit. The decals are just about the only saving grace on this kit. If you're looking for a good MiG-3 kit, the reasonably-priced Zvezda kit is excellent, and a much better buy.
