This book goes into excellent detail about the different variants of the F-86 and MiG-15, comparing the capabilities of each. There is an in-depth discussion of the tactics used by American, Soviet, Chinese, and North Korean pilots, as well as their training programs. The book can be a bit dry at points, since it's lacking in descriptions of actual battles, but there seems to be a real desire to evaluate these two legendary opponents fairly. The book ends with a skeptical discussion of the kill claims made by all participants, and tries to come up with more accurate counts than the vastly inflated ones given in official accounts. An excellent resource for anyone interested in the air war over Korea.
