MultiPro 2 Speed Cordless Tool
MultiPro 2 Speed Cordless Tool
A Must-Have

This is a wonderful tool, one which has a huge number of potential uses. Plenty of attachments are provided (plus a nice little organizer case and buffing compound), which allow you to grind, sand, polish, ream, cut, etch, and sharpen most things you might be working on. The tool is cordless, which makes it much easier to handle, and much, much more portable than its corded version. Plus, I've experienced excellent battery life and fairly short charge time, so running out of juice isn't as big of a problem as it might seem. There are three speed settings: High, Low, and Off. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of using the Dremel; since it relies on rotation speed and not pressure from your hands, you'll want to take a test run or two to develop the light touch you need. My one complaint, and this is minor, is that the speed switch is a bit loose. Otherwise, I'm not sure how I did any projects without a Dremel handy.
