F-4C Phantom
F-4C Phantom
turns out nicely

The fit is acceptable out of the box, but most of the parts will need filing and sanding to get it to fit correctly. I think this is an older kit, so you will also find quite a lot of (easily-removable) flash on the parts. For the price ($20), you can't really complain about the fit, and after fixing it, this model looks pretty good. The intake and exhaust is simple, with no visible fans. On the left horizontal stabilizer, there is a raised manufacturer mark. I was able to remove it with a hobby knife and some sanding. I built this as a Phantom in flight, so I didn't bother with the wheels. This model only took about 12 hours to build, and I'm very pleased with the results. I was surprised by how large this fighter is compared to the MiG-21 in the same scale. I would definitely recommend this!
