This is the only acrylic paint I use. I dries clear and knocks the shine out of chrome parts. This rims for a nascar are very accurate looking as almost nobody runs chrome rims.

This flat clear can make engine parts look so realistic. This engine appears to have aluminum valve covers and blower assembly. If it was painted it would not look right.
