This was my wife's first car. I tried to match the color she had. This is a great kit and was fun to build.

Love that engine. It is by Ross Gibson. This kit was an easy build and shows some of the older kits are still relevant today.

I should have added more wires to busy up the engine compartment. An empty engine compartment is something you rarely see with modern cars.

My wife had to leave her car behind and sell it when she left Hawaii to join the army. Nothing quite as nice as the lines of an old American muscle car.

We would like to get that car back. We heard the new owners still have it after 45 years. This car just looks fast. Feeling a bit nostalgic right now.

As for the model, it was a very easy and fun build. It had no flash, but it did have some serious mold parting line that requiring clean up. I still recommend it.

I raised the back end a bit. When I was younger these cars were everywhere. Now they are only at car shows. So sad.

She said this looked exactly like her car. And she loves that I took the time to make it for her. Classic coke bottle shape and a big engine.

I got a lot enjoyment out of this build. I would make this kit again to see if I could make some improvements. Pick one up from HobbyLinc while you can.

We build these muscle cars because we still love them.

Do yourself a favor and build this kit. So many kits, so little time.
