This would have been a scary view back in 1944.

This is a big tank. I added an interior, metal barrel, metal fenders, and Fruilimodel metal tracks. It is very heavy. Metal fenders make it easier to show user damage. Plastic fenders do not bend like that.

I like to use a metal barrel. It just looks more realistic than a glued plastic one.

The exhaust pipes got a healthy dose of rust

I added some PE fenders because it is easier to show some realistic damage.

With all the open hatches, this kit screams for an interior.

This kit sits like it is heavy. Very realistic. But with the interior and metal parts it is very heavy.

Part of the turret interior. This kit is great to add an aftermarket interior kit. There is a lot of room inside so you can get a nice fit.

I really love doing interiors on my tanks. You can really see a lot through the hatches. With so many companies having interiors right now, I imagine Dragon will have interiors in the future. If not, maybe some new company will offer kits with interiors.

These tanks had a lot of oxide red primer which contrasts nicely with the elfenbine white.

This is a big hatch. I added the chain. It might be a bit large for scale, but it looks to be close enough. A lot of light can come through the back hatch.

You really can see the insides. With the Fruilmodel tracks, interior parts, turned brass shells, and metal barrel, this finished kit weighs a lot. Yes, I do have AMS.

I also used PE screens. And I also added an engine kit to this model.

Brass turned shells and a dirty interior. It is amazing just how much you can see through the hatches. You can really get a good perspective of what it was like to crew one of these beasts.

Even if you can not see things through the hatches, it is nice to know it is there.

This was a great build. It went together with no problems. Usually adding all the aftermarket kits will cause problems with the fit of the kit. But this one really built up with zero problems. I will build it again. I have 6 more of these kits in my stash.
