This kit was very enjoyable to build. I used some aftermarket decals to add a little color to the camo. It also takes up a lot of space in the display cabinet. The quality of this kit has encouraged me to purchase other Trumpeter kits. And I love this big scale.

This one has rockets for a volley fire. A little weathering goes a long way on the under surfaces

The line of Me 262 are very aerodynamic and beautiful. Do yourself a favor and pick up one of the available versions of this kit from hobbylinc. You will not regret it. In this scale they do take up some space.

The cockpit looks great with a good paint job. I removed the canopy for these pictures. (That translates to "I knocked it off removing it from the display case")

The gun bay is so nice, you have to leave it opened up. Lots of room to do extra detailing.

With the nose weights and other parts, you might want to use an aftermarket metal landing gear set. This kit does have a bit of weight to it.
