Straw added to floor and outside pen. I added an overhead beam to hold the light fixture. This turn-of-the-century town is rich and got the first fancy electric lights!

The chairs, table and piano are all laser cut wood kits from B.T.S. The figures are a mix of Preiser, LifeLike and Bachman that I have modified.

August is here and it is time to start on some more buildings for the 2014 Christmas Train Layout for the Grandkids! Here is the last kit from this set.

I learned from last year. Little hands love to explore the insides of the buildings so the lighting had to be a bit more robust!
