"Blacksmith Shop", which I modeled as a livery stable for my grandkid's Christmas layout. I added the windows and stove pipe. They DO NOT come with the kit. The hinges are black masking tape to allow the doors to open. The sign was made in Photoshop.

The Saloon and General Store for my grandkid's Christmas layout. Many structural modifications were made. The roofing material DOES NOT come with the kit, nor the chimney or stove pipe. I made the signs in Photoshop. The supplied signs were TERRIBLE.

Here is the roofing material supplied in the kit. I wasn't very happy with it so I used my own on the other two buildings.

Nearing completion. I added an interior and some extra bracing. The windows are Tichy products I added. They DO NOT come with the kit.

The hinges are masking tape painted black so the doors can be opened. The roof can be removed to view the interior.

I added extra bracing to the walls. They were very warped and needed more support.

There is a lot of room inside the kit so I added an interior.

Porch supports must be cut to size and added individually.

I made the sign in Photoshop because the one supplied with the kit was terrible. The roofing and chimney DID NOT come with the kit. I added them because the supplied parts were not good.

Since I was adding an interior, I added extra bracing and a wood print to the floor.

I heavily modified the front of the store. The kit came with a very flimsy piece of paper to fashion the doorway. It was basically not usable. I scratch built the entire store front from wood.
