With blistering performance, the Nissan Skyline GT-R has made a welcome come-back to the Japanese motorsports scene. The legendary Skyline GT-R was first created in 1969 as a road-going racer, and immediately won praise from motorsports enthusiasts. In May, 1989, Nissan unveiled a reincarnation of this superlative automobile, 16 years after its previous GT-R. The powerplant in this vehicle is a 2568cc, six cylinder, DOHC, 24 valve, twin ceramic turbocharged and intercooled 280 horsepower engine, which was designed from the outset for competition use. In order to effectively transmit this tremendous power to the wheels, the Skyline GT-R incorporates Nissan's original ATTESA E-TS variable torq

Retaining the nostalgic lines of the original "Z" that was released 30 years earlier, the Nissan 350Z, with its sharply cut front and rear fenders, became the number one Japanese sports car. The 350Z is equipped with a 3.5 liter VQ35DE V6 Engine producing 280hp and a 6-speed manual or 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. The Nissan 350Z's aluminum arms employ 4-wheel independent multi-link suspension and feature ripple controlled shock absorbers that effectively absorb road unevenness to make this sports car

Nissan's new Skyline GT-R was unveiled in January 1995, almost one and a half years later than other Skyline stable's model change. . During the early 1990's, the previous GT-R recorded countless victories, not only on the Japanese racing scene, but also in several foreign countries including the Macao Grand Prix and the Spa Francorchamps endurance race in Belgium. Like its predecessor, the '95 Skyline GT-R was designed to continue its motorsports legend from the ground up. The powerplant for the GT-R is a 2.6 liter, in-line 6 cylinder DOHC, twin turbocharged unit. Although the maximum horsepower output is maintained at the same 280hp as before, torque was increased by using a higher turbo b

The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32), released in 1989, was developed as a base machine for Group-A races. Taking full advantage of its powerful 2.6l, 6-cylinder, twin turbo engine, it was equipped with a 4WD system. Originally designated as R32, the car was termed R33 in 1995 and R34 in 1999. In October 2000, the Skyline underwent minor changes such as the addition of large rear brakes to upgrade performance further. This new evolution was called the V-spec II. The most drastic alteration was the replacement of the aluminum hood with a new carbon hood featuring a NACA duct. The carbon pattern of the hood would stand out even when painted the same color as the car body. Both inside and outside surf

The R390 GT1 took its name from a car, R380, that excited Japanese motor sports enthusiasts over thirty years ago. Jointly developed by Nissan and TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing), the R390 GT1 is the state of the art racing expertise of them. Aerodynamically refined low and sleek body styling is suggestive of Nissan's highly competitive Gr. C machines raced during the 1980's. The 3.5 liter V8 engine, producing an awesome 600 horsepower output, is bolted directly to the carbon composite monocoque and works as a load-carrying element. The tremendous power is delivered to the rear wheels via a transversely mounted, six speed transmission. The four wheel double wishbone suspension system is connecte
