I finally completed my Kenworth and here are some assembly steps of my project. I didn't want to paint over the beautiful chrome, but i wanted a "work-truck" look, so i used an old set of AMT 5-spokes and a pair of front wheels from a Diamond Rio kit.

I finally completed my Kenworth. This kit could be built in one day, including painting it in the morning and assembly at night, but what you see in my Kenworth is days n days of weatherization, 20 years in the sun in 2 days?

This kit could be built in one day, but I did allot of little changes that took extra time to do, therefore "extending" the project another couple days. I didn't like Revel's mudflaps at all, so i used a set of IMCs and a piece of sprue with a "number tap" for the 'bracket'.

I agree with other people who wrote reviews and down-graded the tire situation, but i also think the rear wheels are not as deep as they would be in real life and look too fake also, so i cleaned out my tire box & used miss-matched Ertl amt & one italeri to match the wheels i used.

This is a "highly modified" version of the kit. I uploaded some pics of it, but I like this one with the cattle trailer. I also wrote a review on the kit if you're interested. See many more pics at Gary Tanck (Google+).

I stole the cab from a REAL kit,,, (the AMT Super Boss drag kit) because I can't stand the site of the "house" that is molded into the cab it comes with. By GT Classic Plastic

This kit is ridiculous. I am use to the 50+ piece chassis of the AMT or Ertl kits, this one composed of 1 part for the frame and 5 parts for the suspension. Cab is from an AMT kit.

I used the bigger than normal exhaust stacks, chrome fuel tanks & battery boxes of this kit on this custom version of an older style W925.
