Two Enterprise-C's, both at 1:2500. The right-side guy is painted only, using Light Sea Grey as the base color. I didn't think it would work, but this actually gives the ship a convincing metallic tint.

My 1:2500 scale "Cadet Series" Enterprises. The Enterprise-C is in the center. All are painted, but without their decals. I'm not a fan of this tiny scale for "Star Trek" ships... although I think the Enterprises-C and -E turned out well.

The 1:2500 Enterprise-C (lower right) with his 1:1400 big brother (left). Both ships are identically painted, neither have decals. About 95% of the hull details on the big guy are also one the little guy... and the details which are missing are pretty easy to paint on freestyle.
