"Pretty and easy"

Pretty and on the easy side. If the paints are too thick add drops of water a little at a time and stir a lot with a plastic toothpick. They will thin down. If colors are beyond hope most are easily matched at a major craft store.

"lovely picture !"

The Heirloom Roses when completed is on of the loveliest pictures in paint by numbers .It is more realistic then most of this type of still life. It is not hard to paint and you end up with a great picture .

This is a good one to start with. part of painting is leaning how brush strokes effect the overall painting. this one has a great background to practice that!

The images of the roses were quite a delight to paint. This painting while small, moved very quickly. The tones of the pinks and reds made me feel good when I was working on it. The image is not so complex as some, yet, very graceful. The background is a dry brush blended style which I left a bit rougher than in the illustration, but I'm happy with the piece over all. When completed, I placed the painting next to some silk roses of similar tones. I'd definitely recommend this one.
