"Excellent figures."

This is one of the best plastic figure kits out there for US troops dressed for the 1944-45 winter on the Western Front.

"Great Korean War Figures"
johncpo41 (www.hobbiesinabarn)
I have decided to use this set of four well sculpted figures to fill a large gap in history, that of the Korean War or The Forgotten War. By all that measures what war is, the Korean War fits all. From 1950 until 1953 the Korean War was a large scale conflict and largely forgotten. With that in mind I chose this set to start commemorating the war years by showing the various ways WW II figure, armor and aircraft kits could be best used. This is one set with many hours of fun and historic importance, one being that the figures are all posed using WWII equipment, something that never changed in the five years between WWII and Korea. After careful research I found that the U.S. Army had only changed the uniforms somewhat and I showed that by using O.D. through out as most gear was that color by 1950. I included a left over 57mm recoilless rifle from another DML set which was used in Korea as well. Having two sets of figures is even better as I can do some part swapping if I choose. I would recommend this kit to anyone with a few 1/35th scale figure sets under their belt. I'll be posting more photos of the figures as I progress.

"Great detail"

These figures are included in Dragon's M2A1 Howitzer and M4A3 Battle of the Bulge Sherman. They have great details and lots of great parts. I highly recommend if you're looking for late war US figures.

This is a nicely done kit! Nice detail of their weapons and gear! So much so I do not need to add accessories like that to it. Now working on a diorama inspired by Easy Company, 506 PIR, 101st Airborne. This kit will do an exceptional job at that! If you like history and kit modeling, you will love this kit! Enjoy! See what you can create!
