"Beautiful kit of a Beautiful ship"

The Imperial Japanese Navy probably created the most beautiful ships in the world when they built their heavy cruisers, and Fujimi's kit is a gorgeous representation of one of them. This kit is very well put together. There are few fit issues, the details are crisp, and there is little to no sanding/puttying needed. Although the kit looks nice out of the box, you can make it really amazing with the photo etch kit from Toms model works. Its a really fun build, and a truly beautiful finished product.

This model is a easy build but has some bad points. The inst are in japanese but the dirgrams are easy to read and understan. There are parts for the ship in 1940 or 1944 confure. And there many small parts but fit well. The paint chart in good But the small parts and masts must have care in placeing. A good model for all but the more expert you are the better.
