USCG Rescue Boat

First off I have to say this is, a one of a kind, neat little (8 bow to stern) model only made by Glencoe. All the parts are molded in darker gray. The down side is the amount of flash on the parts, more than I like. For a $12.00 kit it isn't the end of the world. There are no decals and the instructions are a fuzzy two sided photocopy. The deck, hull and parts fit very nicely after clean-up. Also, it is the right size for O scale modeling. If you have the patience for flash clean-up or like this rare prototype this kit is for you. I would rate this an average kit, good for the money weekend project.
