Features
This charming model is based on the Ruben G. Gomez General Merchandise store in Pagosa Junction, Colorado which was built in 1910, and recently moved to nearby Pagosa Springs for preservation. The building is typical of general stores found throughout the United States, and fits nicely in any small town scene. The kit captures all the features of the prototype and includes the false front with full windows and doors, a lean-to added on one side, a raised board porch and a gravity-feed gas pump. A prepainted & lettered sign for the Gomez Store (as shown in the illustration) is included, along with a blank version for customizing. A set of printed paper signs with prototype Post Office and Conoco Gasoline signs is also included. Complete step-by-step instructions are also provided. Footprint of finished model measures approximately 5-19/32 x 7-1/4".
