B-25J Mitchell

This kit represents the Mitchell very well. I went with the olive drab and neutral grey. You can also do a silver and chromate yellow version also. PRO's: You has a eight page instruction book that gives you good information. Three different markings with 2 color versions. Decals went on with no trouble. A good fit all around. Nice recesses panel lines. Bomb bay doors can be open or closed. Two bombs are included. All the interior detail inside the cockpit is lost, once the fuselage is closed together. I didn't expected this with a 1/72 scale. I built mine in 4 different stages and paint them all separate. This made painting and decal installment easy. Then put them all together at the end. Wing spars are included. This made the wing fit to the fuselage strong with no gaps. I added weight to the nose but still came up with a tail dragger. So I glued the wooden steps to the rear access crew door. This fitted the problem. Con's: None. Looking forward to building other Mitchell versions from Hasegawa. Recommend for experienced builders. Only because of all the masking of canopies.
