"A simple, but well executed kit"

This kit is a good representation of the actual aircraft. Fit and finish of the parts is excellent, requiring very little flash removal or part modifications for proper fit. It is a simple, straight forward build that does not require any special skills. It is not given a skill level, but I would say it is a 3 of 5 level, with the most complicated task being the assembling of the skid mounting struts if you choose to mount the skid down and open like I did. This is my first attempt at air spraying the mottled camo pattern and I have to say that this 1/32 scale was a perfect size to work with to get the splotches sized properly.

I can't even imagine the intestinal fortitude it took to fuel/fly on of these. A lot of kit for the money, clean lines, no flash, perfect fitting parts. Spent more time painting than building. I like the fact that the tail assembly is removable to show the engine! I would have liked a pilot included in the kit! I'm not into airbrushing so my 163 has a few brush strokes on it! highly recommended!
