Hobbylinc.com Shipping Information Hobbylinc.com shipping facility is designed to ensure your orders are packed quickly and correctly. All of our shipping staff are required to take 'hands on' packing classes so that you can be assured of a high quality packing job on your order each and every time. Although we do have some of the fastest shipping times in the industry please note that this is not our main goal. Most orders ship from our warehouse in two to three business days (weekends not included). Our goal is to offer the largest selection of items at the lowest prices, not be the fastest shipper of goods. Standard Shipping Charges Shipping cost for any order shipped in the Continental United States is calculated automatically online. If the shipping cost can not be determined because the weight or size of an item is not known, then the actual shipping cost will be charged once the order has shipped. Free shipping through UPS or Fedex-Ground is provided for Continental United States orders over $250. Orders not in the Continental U.S. / International Orders Orders shipped to areas outside of the continental U.S. (including U.S. Territories, APO/FPO boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii) do not fall under the standard shipping charge calculation. All orders sent outside the continental U.S. will be charged the actual cost of shipping. We only ship to areas outside of the continental U.S. via USPS. USPS Priority Mail is used for non-continental U.S. orders (U.S. Territories, APO/FPO boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii), and USPS Airmail or Express Mail is used for international orders. We do not ship to these areas via UPS, FedEx, or DHL. You can get an estimation of the cost of shipping packages internationally by using the USPS rate calculator at the USPS site. HASMAT (rocket engines) Items We can send rocket engines to any location in the United States. This includes U.S. Territories. We DO NOT charge an additional HASMAT fee for shipping these engines. In order to avoid the HASMAT fee all engine orders must be shipped via USPS surface mail. (please allow a few extra days shipping time for this method). For orders out side of the continental U.S. these engines still have to be sent surface mail, so please allow three to six weeks for delivery. (They actually place them on a boat to reach your location). We can not ship HASMAT items to any international location (including Canada and APO/FPO addresses) We apologize to all our customers in those locations, we hope that the laws restricting shipping of HASMAT item internationally changes soon so we can provide you with all your hobby needs. Insurance Hobbylinc.com insures our own packages in order to quickly eliminate any problems with your order. The insurance option is NOT the same as provided through the shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc..).
Shipping Dates for Orders Your order status is available online at http://www.hobbylinc.com/products/status.htm. This information is updated every day around 5 pm EST. It takes all orders two to three business days to ship from our warehouse (unless specified otherwise online / i.e. rocket items). You order should follow this basic path in our system:
