this tank is well worth the money and time. I have built 2 of them and im waiting for another. going to build the 3rd as a replica of the tiger 131. I've done a 1/35 scale of the 131. now its time to build a 1/16 scale of it. then im going to do a fourth one, a replica of Michael wittmans 007 tiger. this is a very easy build. only thing is the springs for the tension on the torsion. just spread them out a little by hand and it makes it easier to install piece and screw.

I wondered why this 1/16 Tiger was so inexpensive. The main reason appears to be a gross lack of detail parts. Many areas on the model have details molded directly on larger part. For example, on the upper hull both hatches are molded into the hull and cannot be set to open. And nearly all details (hatches, rivets, etc) are molded into a single piece (top and sides) turret. This model should have hundreds more parts. Its parts count is due almost entirely to track links, metal rod connectors and a very tedious sprung suspension. That said, the end result is not bad. It is big, looks like a Tiger tank, the suspension works well and for the price the best bargain 1/16 tank you can buy.
