Academy's ground vehicle set offers great value for the money. Modelers who are comfortable working with small parts should be able to expand their 1/72 scale motor pool without too much trouble. It's a great diorama Helper. Academy provides a 1/72 scale Kubelwagen, a Kettenkrad, and a Jeep, all with detailed engine compartments. In addition to the vehicles, six crates, 15 jerry cans, and five 55-gallon drums are included. Two windshields are included for the Jeep: a clear paint-the-frame version, and a plastic frame. Kubel windshield: Clear plastic. Both cars came with nicely detailed engines, that can be shown, or not. Although this are old kits, they are very well molded and nicely detailed. Cons: Ejector-pin marks, tricky assembly, no figures. Very good set. Recommended.

I decided to give academy a try after success with a airplane kit from academy. The failures are due to academy trying too much in too small a kit. My problems were as follows. The kubelwagen engine and axle are 1 piece but the axle is extremely frail and will likely break even after it is built. All the kits bodies come in 4-5 pieces the bottom 2-sides and the rear all glued to the bottom. Suspension has to be installed in the cars. All have engines with clear plastic hoods as an option to look at the engines. the finished product looks off like the dimensions are off especially in the jeep. The kettengrad does come out well the treads are 1 piece the body panels go on easy In conclusion there are much better kits than these.

This is an outstanding set. The Jeep and Kubelwagen are excellently detailed, with exquisite undercarriages and detailed interiors. There are detailed gauges and controls, and the decals are pretty good. The Kettenkrad (half motorcycle, half tank) is less detailed than the other two, but it is a fairly small kit, so this is OK. The package also includes a couple of 55 gallon oil drums, three different kinds of jerry cans, and some wooden crates, perfect for adding detail to dioramas. You can have your Jeep in any color you like, as long as it's Olive Drab. You have a choice with the two German vehicles: the European Black-Gray, or the Afrika Corps' Desert Yellow. Absolutely recommended.

Vehicles are generic but very appropriate for their use. The British have no ground vehicles (as they should not) and the German vehicles are correct for the action, except for a Panzer IV was a key element, and it is not given.

opened the box the vehicles were so small you need an large magnifying glass just to see them . I didn't put them together yet can barely see them if you like building micro model then this is for you.

Includes space fillers such as small an large ammo crates, barrels and Jerry cans. all 3 vehicles are easy to assemble an have great detail for the price overall this was a great kit to pick up

have built a few of this set. if you take you're time they come out real good. can use jeep for any modern conflict. jerry can's oil drum's also. not a bad price for 3 kit's.

Seems good value for the money. It includes sprues for 3 different ww2 vehicles, oil drums, crates and Jerry cans. Reasonable detail. Made in South Korea.

I have ordered several of these kits. Priced right and have extra gas cans, boxes and 55 gal drum that can be used with other kits

Perfect for my small diorama, a little frustrating to paint(1/72)but detail is great and price can't be beat!
