Ok as I called this review the not so bad SPAD I must say it wasn't that bad for a small bi-plane. The little plane has a good deal of outer details on the fuselage with the ridges in the tail section and the wings, but not so much when you look inside the cockpit. There is well...no detail at all! The seat is just part of the fuselage halves and there is no instrument panel or flight stick. This definitely caused this plane to lose a few stars. As for the construction this plane went together pretty easily. There was a slight issue with the front fuselage halves matching up and the bottom wing fitting to the fuselage but other than that it was a breeze. Even joining the wings together was fairly easy. The instructions were fairly vague as they were printed on one side of the paper and the decals I have to say were...well different. What I mean is that I didn't expect to see three big swastikas on a plane from a French squadron. That aside it was a fun little build and a nice plane for the money. This one gets 3 of 5 stars for the lack of detail in the cockpit, which wasn't very complicated anyway so there really isn't any reason not to at least include a flight stick.
