Description This is a 1/72 Plastic Curtiss P-40B Tomahawk Model Kit from Academy Plastics. It's for ages 10 and up.
Facts One of the most familiar aircraft of the Second World War was the famous Curtiss P-40. Originally flown in 1938, the first P-40 was actually a modified P-36 using an inline allison engine instead of the P-36's bulky radial type. This modification gave the U.S. Army a craft that could compete with a Hurricane or a Messerschmitt. These were the planes that would become known as the British Flying Tigers.
Features 46 plastic pieces attached to sprues and molded in grey.
The surface of the plane is decorated with fully engraved panel lines and rivet detail. Highly detailed cockpit interior includes a pilot and controls. Authentic engine assembly with propeller. Sports optional position landing gear and weaponry. Clear plastic canopy allows close inspection of cockpit. Detailed pictorial instructions guide you through assembly. Includes One 1/72 Plastic Curtiss P-40B Tomahawk Model Kit
