Facts The MiG-21 Fishbed series is one of the most produced and widely used jet fighter aircraft ever. The MiG-21 has good flight performance which is only hampered by its relatively short range. Nevertheless, the simplicity of the type's systems and construction has made it popular with the allies and satellites of the former Soviet Union. The MiG-21MF version features an upgraded engine, improved avionics and more versatile weapons capability.
