First off, this is a very cool model, very detailed, you will love displaying this model when finished, I really like that the cab and pumper comes on and off to display the very detailed chassis. Ok, now let's get to the actual building, this is your typical AMT big rig kit, meaning, yes, it is very detailed, you will have to guess sometimes as there are not always holes for fitment, but if you have patience and experience, you are going to be very pleased with the finished model, it is impressive!!

AMT’s American LaFrance pumper truck. Quite the challenge. Lots of parts and lots of chrome. Entire body lifts off to show the engine and pumper systems. Not a beginner’s kit. For once, however, I had no issues with the mirrors. I spent lotsa time with drills, files and sand paper to clean the chrome off any mating surfaces, so I was able to attach as one unit. Kit includes decals so you can do a replica of your local F.D. Have fun!

Haven't built it, but looks like a nice model.It will compliment the aerial truck.
