Pagani Huayra Italian 2-Door Sports Car (New Tool)

At first glance the Pagani is an eye catcher. The kit is extremely detailed from the number of parts to the excellent molding of the parts. It starts with a 5 star impression. The kit pushes the all open view, but that's not how you may want it all the time. When displayed open there are parts to be glued in place and then you are stuck with that look. I wanted all closed up. This was NOT thought out well by Aoshima. There are several fitment issues and not just that, it would be nice if it was fewer pcs to start. It was a serious challenge. I likely did 60 test fits. (Add a couple pcs and refit the whole car shell to check for clearance.) There are so many issues and they are not builder error....pcs just float with no exact position and if you lock it in you are beat. In order to get the look,of a Huayra 730s there are no inner wheel wells. everything was workable till I put the rears wells in and it sat high in the back and would not butt snug to the roof line. This causes for too much variable and you really can't help others because each one will have a different outcome every time. I would not recommend this one to everyone. The fact that you can't display it both ways makes me concerned....don't want it open all the time. I want to see the lines line up in the paint job....I now know why they push the open view as the closed view doesn't line up anywhere without a lot of extra work bending and reshaping body panels to line up with the doors as they are the fixed position in the kit. In the end it's just an average kit with headaches and is by no comparison as good as a Tamiya Lafrrari
