Description This is Aristo-Craft Trains' G Scale #1 Gauge Rogers 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive (Santa Fe No.90) and Slope Back Sound Tender.
Features Compatible with any G scale electric railroad equipment.
The leading and trailing trucks have springs for equalization and act as shock absorbers to cushion the ride. Knuckle couplers are included and can be assembled if the tender is not desired. Indoor and outdoor use. Solid state circuitry. Wheels are designed for electrical power pickup. Wheels have been plated for good conductivity. Separate on/off switches for the motor, light and smoke. Operating smoke unit. Operating headlight and interior light. Aristo-Craft Trains products have a 5 year warranty. This Santa Fe steam locomotive is painted several colors: black, brown, silver. The cab window trim is red and the openable window is trimmed with a wood grain appearance. Locomotive is detailed with brass metal grabrails, bell, whistle. Interior of cab is finely detailed and has a painted engineer figure. A.T.& S.F. is on each side of the cab on a brass plate. Road number 90 appears on the sides of the headlight housing and dome on top of the boiler. The slope back tender has Santa Fe painted white on each side. Realistic sound tender. Brass metal handrail along steps on tender. Tender is loaded with coal. Light box mounted in the middle of the tender's back. Both pieces sit in a fitted styrofoam tray which is protected within a windowed cardboard box. Informational instruction manual included.
