This is a Smoke Unit for Athearn's SD-45 Locomotives.

Built-in fan.
Automatic cut-off when the smoke fluid has been used up, preventing component burnout.
Low current drain.
Self contained, but does require a power connection to the loco- motive.
Reservoir will hold up to 75 drops of smoke fluid.
Works with 8-24 volts, either AC or DC.
